HE. Khalid Bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council received a number of Journalists and media professionals from news agencies, television channels and newspapers in the European Union.

The Chairman gave a short overview of Shura Council developments in various fields, as well as the work of the permanent Committees.

H.E. Chairman of the Council comforted the Shura Council keenness to participate in various international meetings and forums and to benefit from the experience of parliaments.

During the meeting, H.E.  answered various questions and inquiries posed by representatives of the media in the European Union countries, which aimed at approaching the role of the consultative practice in the Sultanate of Oman through the Shura Council
